Kim Hawtrey is an Australian economist, who has written on economics and on Christianity
== Biography ==
He earned his doctorate at the University of New South Wales and studied at Moore Theological College. Currently he is professor at Hope College. Previously he was with Macquarie University (1992–2007), He has also been Chief Economist at Colonial State Bank (1987–91), and Economist with the Reserve Bank of Australia (1980–86).
Hawtrey is an elected Senior Fellow of the FINSIA Financial Services Institute of Australia and a recipient of the national Carrick Award for Teaching Excellence.〔()〕
